Luke: 7 years old, DSH grey & white tabby

Bio: Luke has the most gorgeous blue eyes! He is also a lover! After only a few days he was sleeping with his foster parents. Luke LOVES beds, he will sleep and take naps with you. He also practically pets himself with how much physical affection he displays. He seems to always be ready to give and receive affection. Luke was adopted as kitten but returned because his adopters said they didn't have time for him. Luke does okay with some other cats but would do best as the only cat in the house. He has not been exposed to dogs. With such great people skills, Luke needs a forever home as soon as possible!

Trying Something New

In 2007 32,776 animals were euthanized in Utah shelters. As a volunteer with an animal rescue organization, CAWS, I see these homeless pets on a daily basis and work zealously to place as many adoptable cats into forever homes as possible. At times I find my volunteer work discouraging and fruitless, however, I look into the eyes of any one of the many homeless cats in our program and am quickly rejuvenated and am ready to go again. This blog is dedicated to the CAWS cats in hopes that one person may see their forever companion, and give one more cat a second chance.
